"A self-taught photographer, he uses all means of creating images. Gerard does all shots situations on-site, where light sources move, along with additional movements of the camera, combined with long exposure, giving these sculptural results.

Gerard sees this as a kind of "photon-painting". He creates sculptures, fields, patterns, harmonies, and fluids, where no one would realize them when just walking by. The original prints are 1.20 meters by 1.6 meters using matte Hahnemuhle paper, mounted on aluminum backs and presented without glass or frames.

Gerard has participated in many group shows and solo exhibitions in Switzerland and within Europe. He is represented by 2 galleries in the greater Zurich area. "
